Who is responsible for your data
Mirelle is responsible for the personal data collected through this website, our private commission process and related client-care conversations. This notice is intended to support our obligations under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Identity and contact details, including your name, email address, mobile, WhatsApp or WeChat contact.
- Commission and delivery details, including recipient address, postal code, presentation choice, gift message and private service history.
- Commission and fit information, including design notes, inspiration images, hand photographs and measurements for all ten nails.
- Correspondence, approvals, quotation and payment-status records. This website does not currently collect or store card numbers.
- Basic technical and preference information needed to operate the site, such as language, chosen atelier inspiration and measurements saved locally on your device.
Why we use it
We use personal data to review and manage a commission, recommend fit, develop and obtain approval for a design, prepare a private quotation, make and deliver the approved work, provide client care, prevent misuse, keep necessary business records and meet legal obligations. We limit collection and use to purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate for the service requested.
Marketing is optional. If you select the marketing box, we may send occasional Mirelle notes. You may withdraw that choice at any time by contacting us.
Hand images stay private by default
Images and measurements uploaded with a commission are used privately for fit evaluation, design development and client care. Selecting an archive preference only permits Mirelle to invite you to consider publication later; it is not publication consent.
Mirelle will not publish your name, story, hand photographs or finished commission unless the exact material and intended channel are presented to you and you give separate, explicit approval.
Service providers, security and retention
We may disclose only the information necessary to service providers supporting payment, delivery, hosting, storage or client communications, and where required by law. Before a provider is connected, its details and any material cross-border transfer arrangements should be reflected in this notice.
After a private application is saved, the site may open WhatsApp with a prepared application summary addressed to Mirelle. The message is not sent until you choose Send in WhatsApp. If you do so, WhatsApp and Meta process the conversation under their own terms and privacy arrangements, which may involve processing outside Singapore. Uploaded inspiration or hand images remain in Mirelle's private record and are not attached automatically to the WhatsApp message.
The site also offers a link and QR code for WeChat Customer Service operated through WeCom. WeChat and WeCom process conversations under Tencent's own terms and privacy arrangements, which may involve processing outside Singapore. The website does not automatically send the commission record, inspiration images or hand photographs into WeChat; clients are asked to send only their private reference so Mirelle can locate the record securely.
We use access controls and private links to reduce unauthorised access. No online system is completely risk-free. We retain personal data only while needed for the stated purpose, client-care history, dispute handling or applicable legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it appropriately.
Access, correction and withdrawal
You may ask what personal data Mirelle holds about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent for a use that relies on consent, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where continued retention is required or permitted by law. Withdrawing information needed to fulfil an active commission may mean we cannot continue that service.
The public site currently uses device storage for language, selected inspiration and optional size-profile preferences. It does not currently run advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear device-stored preferences through your browser settings.
Privacy contact
For access, correction, withdrawal or a complaint, email Mirelle with the subject “Privacy / PDPA”. We aim to acknowledge your request promptly and will explain any identity information needed to process it.
